The Lake-Cook Regional Critical Incident Partnership (LCRCIP) held its first meeting in July, 2007, at Discover Financial Services. Members of the 2006 Libertyville CIP folded into the then Lake-Cook Corridor CIP. Following the October, 2007 meeting at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, the new name became Lake - Cook Regional Critical Incident Partnership. Nominees for the steering committee were taken and participants elected the committee members.
LCRCIP has been established as a not-for-profit organization that does not charge for membership. Donations and grant opportunities are always welcome. Please see the donation section on our site.
The LCRCIP subcomittees are active and cover a wide-range of topics. The format for meetings includes success stories, focused training, subcomittee reports, and a tabletop exercise. In the fall of 2008, a complex partnership Tabletop Exercise was held and facilitated by Michigan State University for the LCRCIP. A Full-Scale Exercise was held, at Grainger, in June, 2010, which you can see in our pictures below.
The Critical Incident Protcol (CIP) Community Facilitation Program is the founding program for our organization.
